Faye Strauch CD(DONA): Certified Doula

My love of all things birth began with the birth of my own children a long time ago. When I was pregnant with my kids, I didn’t realize I could make decisions about my birth preferences and the way I wanted my birth experience to happen. Three years ago, I was fortunate to support and nurture one of my daughters during her pregnancy, birth and postpartum. That was one of the most precious moments and I realized at that time that I wanted to provide support to many other expecting mothers.

I value each woman and her birth experiences and I feel honored that I am allowed to be a part of those personal moments. As a doula my desire is to serve and empower you and ensure confidence in new families. I will respect your individual preferences and choices and advocate for you to have the birth you desire.

Ashley Wain, PDCD: Certified Doula

Ashley Wain is the owner and operator of LoveBug Doula and Natural Essentials, LLC. Ashley is one of the leading Doula and Childbirth teachers in the valley, who has developed an all-natural line of skincare products designed for newborns and their mama’s called LoveBug Natural Essentials. In addition to her Doula services and Skincare line she also offers placenta encapsulation, birth photography, plus latch and postpartum support.

Born and raised in Arizona, Ashley received her degree in Communication with a focus in Business at the University of Arizona. After getting married and having children, she realized that new moms often fear birth because they don’t understand all the options available to them. Ashley admits to being one of those moms until she was inspired by her own Doula. After having her second child Ashley went on to complete her training and certification with ProDoula. As a Certified Labor Doula (CD) Ashley assists in 5 to 6 labors per month at hospitals, homes, and birthing centers across the Valley.

Victoria Calleja: Certified Birth doula, postpartum doula, loss doula and placenta encapsulator

Victoria Calleja, owner of All Things Birth, has been an instructor for the Bradley Method of Natural Childbirth® since 2005. Classes are held at The Brth Nest at Catlin Court in Glendale and her home in Peoria. She serves the Phoenix valley and beyond (Maricopa, Casa Grande, Florence) as a doula and placenta encapsulator. She also co-hosts the West Valley location of the Phoenix Birth Circle.

Birth is an intimate event and Victoria understands the decision to invite someone to your space is important. As such, Victoria would be honored to meet with you to discuss your birth plans. Dianne Hamre, CD(DONA) is our Certifed Doula

After becoming certified with DONA in 2009, Dianne Hamre has been a full-time doula for the past 10 years. During that time, she has supported nearly 700 families through the incredible journey of childbirth. She believes one of the most important aspects of preparing for a positive birth experience begins with choosing the right care provider. Births at Banner Del Webb with the team from Premier Care for Women is her favorite environment to support families as they bring their little one into the world.

Dianne is well respected for the professional manner in which she guides her clients through the decision making process and is a welcomed addition to the birth space among the medical staff. With her knowledge and vast experience, her clients feel well supported with the calm, quiet strength she brings to the environment.

In addition to being a doula, Dianne tells the beautiful story of birth through the lens of her camera; capturing those first moments for families to cherish forever. She also teaches a one day childbirth prep class called The Birth Journey. This class is designed for couples emphasizing the significance of the partner’s role during the labor and birth process. In addition to utilizing hands-on comfort measures, the workshop includes a unique labor simulation set to music.
